Posted: Sat, 03 Mar 2018 13:56 by Anita Sach

The police have recently received two reports of vehicles acting suspiciously in the Berkeley area.
A dark coloured Volvo with an index plate of OV55**N with two white males was driving very slowly and looking at properties in the Leaze, Lantern & Watts Close locations of Berkeley.
This vehicle has also been reported as acting suspiciously in the northern part of the Cotswolds.
They have also been notified of a Citroen Van with a male and female of Eastern European origin acting suspiciously in the area of Berkeley. They were seen to steal a boiler from a garden in The Leys, Berkeley. The index plate CF53U** is registered to an address in the Birmingham area where a number of gangs operate using Eastern Europeans to steal metal items for scrap.
